Senior Leadership Team

Marie Cooper

Chief Executive Officer

Marie is CEO at CBE+. Her vison, ambition and drive has brought four once separate businesses together to be a single, integrated supplier of choice for some of the world’s most demanding markets. Prior to CBE+, Marie was Finance Director at President Engineering Group Ltd and was part of the award-winning team that increased the workforce by a third, grew turnover by 40% and increased international sales by 37%. Marie’s background is in finance and she is AAT and ACCA-qualified. Over the years, Marie has accumulated a wealth of experience and life skills which have led her to where she is today. She is a big believer in people, training & development, networking and strategic collaborations, recognising that ‘together we do more’. Alongside managing the business, she plays an active role in the community and supports various charities, including being a trustee for STEM and employment charity the Work-wise Foundation.

Chris Brown

Group Technical Director


Chris holds a Master’s degree in Engineering and Management. Having worked in the engineering sector throughout his professional career, he brings a wealth of experience from a variety of roles covering design, production and process engineering, lean manufacturing and latterly as Production Manager and Operations Director. Chris is the Group’s Technical Director, having a passion for innovative technical advancement, problem solving and process improvement. He is responsible for the technical direction and capabilities of the group, in line with strategic objectives.

Fabio Cosenza

Group Sales and Marketing Director


Fabio holds a BSc (Hons) in European Business with Technology from Brighton University and a degree in Industrial Production from Polytechnic University of Turin. Having worked in automotive, banking, and precision engineering, Fabio has been based in London, Italy and now back in the UK. Fabio has worked in engineering sales and business development for the past 12 years and in relationship management roles his entire career. He heads up the Sales and Marketing Team at CBE+ with particular focus on building new customer relationships.

Lindsay Atkins

Group Operations Director

Lindsay holds a BSc (Hons) in Business Management and has worked within the manufacturing sector throughout her career. Her previous roles include Internal Sales & Marketing Manager, Value Stream Manager and Production Manager. Lindsay’s most recent role is Group Operations Director for the CBE+ Group. She oversees production and efficiencies, implements processes and practices across the organisation and manages the workforce.

Richard Stabler

Richard has over 20 years’ experience as a Chief Finance Officer and Finance Director in manufacturing environments. He chose to dive straight into the world of work after finishing school, studying qualifications in business and accounts in his spare time, to ultimately become an FCMA.

Jonathan Curry

Key Account Manager


Jonathan has 15 years experience working for primary metal producers, metal distributors, and specialist service sub-contractors. He holds domestic and export account management experience in key industries such as aerospace and defence, O&G, automotive and general engineering.

Bob Dixon

Technical Sales Advisor - Precision Engineering


Bob works with our customers and the production team to provide quotations and advanced engineering solutions. He has worked in precision engineering for aerospace, defence energy rail, toolmaking and machining tools throughout his career. He is HNC-qualified in production engineering and is an approved auditor.

Karl Towers

Technical Sales Advisor - Electroless Nickel Plating


Karl is our technical sales lead for ENP, supporting customers with quotes and advice. Karl has been with the company for 12 years. He started in the 'goods in' department and has progressed through many roles to the position he now holds in technical sales. Over the years, he has worked very closely with all customers to deliver a very high level of customer service while also working closely with production to fulfil our customers' needs.

Katie Andrews

Marketing and Communications Executive


Katie has 4 years’ experience working in marketing for manufacturing businesses, from primary metal producers to specialist service sub-contractors. She looks after our PR, social media, events, STEM engagement and communications.

Production Team

Richard Holdgate

Production manager - Precision Engineering


Richard started his career with a manufacturing apprenticeship. He has worked his way up and has recently become Precision Engineering Production Manager. This involves working with technical, production, sales and quality - drawing on their high level of skill and knowledge to solve real-life problems and produce quality parts.

Lee Marriot

Production manager - Electroless Nickel Plating


Lee has worked in electroless nickel plating for over 25 years, including working on all plating lines daily. He spent 3 years in NiTEC's lab, helping to develop the chemistry and testings. He has also contributed to many of our quality procedures including Oil & Gas, Automotive, rail and nuclear. He is qualified to Sifco repair.

Clint Spencer

Production Planner - Precision Engineering

Clint is our Production Planner. He manages machine capacity against orderbook priorities, to ensure all our customers' needs are met on time. He has extensive experience in planning precision engineering jobs and has held roles from scheduling to Production Manager in a number of UK businesses serving the aerospace sector.

Vicky Astell

Lab Supervisor


Vicky is our chemistry supervisor. She is responsible for supervising the running of the CBE & Nitec testing laboratories. She also manages the company's chemical waste and effluent plant. She has over 12 years of experience in working and managing laboratories, including working for the NHS, ceramic tile manufacture, pharmaceutical confectionery (cough sweets!) and electroplating for aerospace and defence. She has also spent time as a teacher overseas in Asia, and in the UK as a secondary school teacher.

Lewis Tate-Williamson

Lab Technician


Lewis has a BSc (Hons) Forensic Science. He is our Chemistry Lab Technician and has 3 years experience in production lab environments, as well as experience in coating and plating methods, and performing quality analysis. He performs quality testing analysis and chemical make-up for production alongside producing lab reports for customers.

Andrea is a CIPD Associate Member in Human Resource Management with a strong background in leading and managing HR initiatives that support the business and its employees.

Mike Robson

Purchasing Manager

Mike has over 15 years experience of working in purchasing departments, primarily in manufacturing but also in retail and medical. He looks after all the procurement needs in the group, both in terms of production and non-production.


Frances Crossland

Commercial Manager


Frances has extensive experiemce in customer services, managing teams in a variety of businesses across South Yorkshire and the Midlands. At CBE+, she is responsible for order progressing, organising deliveries, communication with customers and problem solving.

Bothwell Sibanda

Commercial Support

Bothwell is completing a degree apprenticeship in our commercial team. He supports customers with order progressing, tracking orders and general queries.

Morgan Rogers

Commercial Support

Morgan is an apprentice in our commercial team. He supports our customers with order progressing, tracking orders and general queries.


Kerry Rousell

Finance Manager


Kerry has over 15 years experience of working in the finance and accounting sector, with over 10 years of that being within the manufacturing industry. She takes care of the group finances, management accounts and cash flow. She also works with our internal IT and Systems Administrator to enhance our procedures and business information/intelligence reporting.


Kelvin Davison

Group Quality Manager

Kelvin is our Quality Manager and is responsible for our quality management systems, supporting customers with quality issues, improving our systems and resolving production problems. Kelvin has 20 years experience in the metals manufacturing industry, undertaking a variety of technical and quality roles, working closely with production teams and customers to improve standards, resolve problems and provide high levels of service. He has worked in melting shops, hot rolling mills, finishing operations and service departments.

Stephen Toy

Stephen is our Precision Engineering Inspector. He is responsible for process proofing on prototype inspection through to final inspection quality. He has worked in many sectors including aerospace, defence, nuclear, automotive, rail and F1. He has held a variety of roles in quality departments throughout the Midlands.
