The defined scope of the OH&S management system for CBE Plus is: Management of hazards and risks associated with conducting business activities at Enterprise Drive, Tupton Way, Holmewood Industrial Estate, S42 5UZ, including the manufacture of precision engineered parts, including CNC turning and milling ; the application of electro and electroless plating and associated metal treatment processes; the testing of micro hardness, phosphorous content, diffusion layer and plating thickness of plated products on this site.

CBE Plus is committed to the prevention of injury and ill health, and continual improvement in OH&S management and OH&S performance for all interested parties, where reasonably practicable, within the context of the organization. This H&S Policy Statement provides the framework for setting and reviewing OH&S objectives.

The company is committed to eliminating hazards and reducing risks so far as is reasonably practicable. All employees at CBE Plus have a duty to ensure that they work in a safe manner and that their acts or omissions do not cause harm to themselves or others in the vicinity.

Employees will be encouraged to bring to the attention of the management any concerns regarding any health and safety issues this will be done through consultation and participation of workers. Workers will have their own representatives as part of the company’s health and safety committee our primary vehicle towards continual improvement.

We will set and regularly review the performance of our system against a series of SMART Objectives and Targets aligned to the strategic direction of the business.

The company is committed to comply with applicable legal requirements and with other requirements to which the company may subscribe that relate to applicable OH&S hazards. In order to ensure that the Policy is implemented and maintained the person named below will ensure that sufficient resources, both financial and physical are available so that the Policy and its arrangements can be implemented effectively.

This Policy is the cornerstone of our health & safety system and as such we will ensure the content is communicated to all persons working for, or on behalf of the organisation, through training, induction and notice boards. The policy will also be available to all interested parties via the CBE Plus internet site.

The arrangements for the achievement of the aims of this policy are set out in the CBE+ Health and Safety Manual.
