Effluent Plant

Being over 2 years in the planning and with works starting over 12 months ago, January 2022 saw the completion of the bunded floor.  Constructed from 1325mreinforced concrete, the bund will contain all of the production processes lines and associated treatment equipment required for the facility to operate.

Progress has been swift, and recent developments have included the installation of a state-of-the-art automatic Effluent Treatment Plant and a Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system, both of which will support the new plating line systems.

February will be a key month in the project’s development, with the remaining key activities scheduled for completion:

Ken Brown, the Project Manager managing this exciting chapter in CBE+ ‘s history outlines:

“We are approaching the final stages of the project. The installation of the new plating lines along with the commissioning of a leading-edge technology effluent treatment plant will both be completed in the next few weeks and will result in all activities within the CBE+ group located in one location”.

“At the same time, a new CHP plant will also be commissioned. A significant capital investment that will reduce the company carbon footprint by 50%”

“An exciting time for everyone in the business, with further investment in plant and processes already planned for implementation later in 2022”
